AirServer supports multiple devices mirroring simultaneously.

To mirror from more than one device, just switch on screen mirroring on each device and select AirServer as the destination, the same way you would with a single device. Each new connection is added to the display alongside the ones already there.

How multiple devices are arranged on screen

AirServer automatically arranges connected sessions on the display, adjusting the layout as devices connect and disconnect.

On AirServer Connect, you can also change the session layout in the Device Management interface (Device Management → Personalization → Session Layout). Three options are available:

  • Default — AirServer chooses the most efficient layout based on the number of connected devices.
  • Grid — arranges all sessions in a uniform grid.
  • Single — shows one session at a time in full screen.

Managing multiple connections

In classrooms, meeting rooms, or any environment where multiple people may connect at once, you may want more control over who appears on screen. AirServer Connect includes Moderator Mode, which lets you approve incoming connections, hide or mute active sessions, and disconnect specific devices from a moderator interface.

See What is Moderator and how does it work? for details.

How many devices can connect at once?

There is no hard limit set by AirServer, but the practical limit depends on your network and receiver capacity. The more devices connect simultaneously, the more bandwidth is required, and each session adds processing load on the receiver. Wi-Fi conditions, device count, and the type of content being mirrored all affect performance.
