This can occur when you are trying to use AirServer with an old graphics adapter/card, the drivers are not up to date or when your card is not supported.

There are a few things you can try to help resolve this problem:

  • Update your graphics adapter/card's drivers to the latest version
  • Make sure you are using the latest version of AirServer Universal.
  • Switch hardware acceleration off in the Settings. You can do so by opening the Preferences... and opening the Display tab. There you can untick the box in front of "Use accelerated graphics if available". Make sure to restart AirServer Universal afterwards.
  • Green artefacting is a common issue with AirServer Universal on less performant systems. If you are running Windows 10, we highly recommend using AirServer Windows 10 Desktop Edition instead of AirServer Universal. It has increased performance and works better on older systems in comparison to AirServer Universal.
