You can mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to AirServer using AirPlay, which is built into iOS and iPadOS. No additional app is required on your device.
Before you start
- Make sure AirServer is running on your Mac, Windows PC, or AirServer Connect device.
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to the same Wi-Fi network as the device running AirServer. On AirServer Connect, you can also join the Guest Hotspot if it is enabled.
How to mirror from your iPhone
The steps depend on whether your iPhone has Face ID or a Home button.
- iPhone with Face ID (iPhone X and later)
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Select your AirServer device from the list.
- If prompted, enter the AirPlay password or code shown on the AirServer screen.
- iPhone with Home button (iPhone SE and earlier)
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Select your AirServer device from the list.
- If prompted, enter the AirPlay password or code shown on the AirServer screen.
How to mirror from your iPad
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Select your AirServer device from the list.
- If prompted, enter the AirPlay password or code shown on the AirServer screen.
How to stop mirroring
Open Control Center again, tap Screen Mirroring, and select Stop Mirroring.
If AirServer doesn't appear in the list
If you do not see the AirPlay icon, or your computer is not showing, visit the troubleshooting section for AirServer Universal, AirServer Windows 10 Desktop Edition or AirServer for Mac.
