I am unable to activate AirServer or check for updates

In some cases it's impossible to activate or update AirServer because of firewall or network port restrictions. In order for this to work you have to make sure that activation.airserver.com, api.airserver.com and download.airserver.com are accessible through HTTPS (port 443).
It's also possible that you will have to add an exception in your firewall for AirServer. How to do this, is explained in our firewall configuration support article.
