The default settings for the AirServer Connect include automatic updates. The device then checks for updates 10 minutes after startup and every 24 hours after the first check. Updates are only applied when the device is not in use.
It is strongly recommended to have automatic updates enabled to get the latest features and security updates.
If the device is not updating to the latest firmware, please go through the following steps:
- First make sure automatic updates are enabled.
- Make sure that the AirServer Connect has an internet connection and can reach AirServer update servers.
- Perform a manual update through Remote Management or the on-screen menu.
- In some cases, it has helped to reset all settings on the AirServer Connect device. Go to Settings > Tools > Reset All Settings. After the device restarts, perform a manual update.
